Surprise For Our Guests: Cigar Roller

We had a couple surprises for our guests that I (tried) to keep under wraps before the wedding. The first one was a cigar roller - Marcia, from Boston Cigar Factory. This was a big hit with our guests, I think we're the first in our crowd to have this at our wedding - but we won't be the last!

For this surprise, I got to do a little more design work. Marcia had the option to let me design my own cigar label (photo above, by Lisa Rigby). I used a vintage flourish design with a seal in the middle, which had our names, date, and skull & crossbone motif. These were printed on gold paper - which really added to the vintage flair.

The other piece I designed were custom matchbooks from ForYourParty.com. I chose a metallic orange for the case - it was actually the exact same paper used in our invitations for our inner envelopes. The site even had a little skull & crossbone clipart, and I paired it with our names and date. The matchbooks were adorable - I only wish we ordered more because I didn't get to keep one!
