Wedding Photos - Slideshow Movie

Our photographer, Lisa Rigby, made a great slideshow of our day. I hi-hosied the idea, edited it a bit, and violá! Here it is! It's in a quicktime format because that's all I could figure out using iPhoto. Photobucket, my usual standby for embedded slideshows, must be having some technical issues, because when I tried to create it through the site, it kept playing the first 2 photos over and over again... ok... Anyways, at least this way I can put it to music! (That would be "Please Forgive Me by David Gray, which was on our dinner playlist and one of my favorite songs).

I also made our custom Thank You notes out of our beautiful wedding photos - they will be held up because of the holidays, but the printing company said we should have them around Christmas. I'm also working on some custom albums right now - and will report back after the holidays about how everything turns out. I anticipate that will be the last post of my blog as well, as I've run out of things to talk about!

Enjoy!

Surprise For Our Guests: Photo Booth

One of my favorite surprises for our guests was the photobooth (above photo by Lisa Rigby - and yes, as previously mentioned, that's my brother in there...). We rented the booth from Boston Photo Booth Rental. We sprang for the whole night, since we didn't want them wheeling it out during dessert and knew it would be popular.

And it was! Guests were in it all night long, right up until the end of the night. We had previously seen a photobooth in action from the same company last Halloween - at the ICA Masked party. BPB was great - always quick to respond to my emails (and there were plenty...) and they let me design my own photo strip graphics, and use my own guestbook to hold the images and messages from guests.

If you are looking for a unique favor or guestbook idea - I highly recommend a photobooth. The next morning when we woke up at the hotel, we had the guestbook with us, and cracked up at all the pictures and messages from our guests. It was a nice way to start our first day of married life!

We were only able to get in there once together - but here's our strip... note the dazed and confused expressions... yeah, your own wedding is a whirlwind!
